Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 15.21 g, 1 h), in the name and types of the Seleukid king Philip I Philadelphus, Caesarean Era 10 = 40/39 BC. Diademed head of Philip I to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩ[Σ] / ΦIΛIΠΠΟΥ - EΠIΦΑΝΟΥΣ / [ΦIΛ]AΔEΛ[ΦΟΥ] Zeus seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and long scepter in his left; in field to left and below throne, monograms; in exergue, I and thunderbolt. McAlee 10. Prieur 10. RPC I 4133. Nicely toned. Slightly porous and with a few light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
